The Buckaroos saved their best for last and it was not enough. After a fourth-quarter comeback to force overtime, the Buckaroos fell 28-27 in overtime to the Cisco Loboes.

Breckenridge was held without a score in the first quarter as they trailed 6-0. Cisco scored on a 3-yard run in the opening quarter by Hunter Long, his first of three in the game.

The Buckaroos finally found the end zone in the second quarter to briefly draw even. Quarterback Chase Lehr found fellow junior Anson Rodgers on third-and-1 on a 5-yard screen play for a touchdown. After the extra point failed, the teams were tied at 6-6.

They had a chance at the lead later in the quarter after Emilio Maya took an interception for 28-yards and into Cisco territory. However, the offense could not take advantage of the field position. The tie was short-lived as Cisco took a 13-6 lead into halftime. Long threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Jhermie Hernandez for the lead.
