Bucks finish strong in Lipan XC meet

The Bucks and Lady Bucks cross country teams of Breckenridge High School earned top recognition at the recent Lipan Meet.

The BHS Girls team ran a two-mile course and placed first as a team. Individually, Reigen Robertson placed sixth in 14:30 (14 minutes and 30 seconds). She was followed by Mia Arreola, who finished in 7th place, and Shayli Harrison, who finished 9th place.

The BHS Boys team took third place honors with two team members placing in the top ten. The team was led by Evan Moore on the three-mile course. Moore took third place, individually at 17:37 (17 minutes and 37 seconds). Team members who followed him include Karter Smalley, who finished in eighth place, as the Bucks finished in third place as a team.
