Bucks lose to Jim Ned Indians

The Bucks traveled to Tuscola to play the Jim Ned Indians on Tuesday, March 2.

The Indians jumped out in front with three runs in the first inning and added two more in the second. The Bucks’ pitcher held them off in the third and fourth inning, but the Indians were able to collect three more in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Meanwhile, the Bucks couldn’t get a run until the fourth inning, with an RBI earned by Jonas Arellano, who had two hits for the Bucks. The score at this point was (1-5). The Bucks added one more run in the sixth and one more in the seventh inning, but was unable to catch the Jim Ned Indians and lost (3-8).

The Bucks had four hits against the seven collected by the Indians, but the Bucks committed five errors against two by the Indians.

Camden Escalon was the losing pitcher on the mound for the Bucks for four innings with eight strikeouts and gave up three walks. Kason Knight went in the last two innings and gave up three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning

Jonas Arellano had two hits and one RBI and Evan Moore collected one hit. However, the bottom line was the five errors committed by the Bucks

The Bucks Varsity were due to participate in the Hamlin Tournament Thursday through Saturday, March 4-6, in three non-conference games against Bangs, Winters and Merkel.
