The Lady Bucks got their groove back and decisively beat the Lady Bulldogs of Ranger, 57- 29. Solid passing skills and sure bucket shots was the decisive outcome to break the dry spell.

Zaea Ragle started the Lady Bucks off with the first bucket of the game and Kylee Willis, wearing #21, poured in two buckets and one of her three-pointers that first quarter along with help from Nora Ramirez #24 and Jimena Palacios #25, with the score 13-6.

In the second quarter, Willis hit three buckets and Palacios hit two three-pointers in succession along with one bucket from Nayeli Hernandez #5 and one from Emily Welch #1 to make the score at the half of 31-11.

In dominate fashion, during the third quarter, Ramirez and A. Navarro #35 both hit buckets along with Hernandez and Welch added two buckets. Ramirez hit another three-pointer mid-way and Willis added two points. The score was 46-21 at the end of the third quarter.

In the fourth quarter, Camilia Palacios #15 got back into the scoring column along with buckets from Willis, Ramirez and Welch. The game ended with a score of 57-29.

The Lady Bucks clicked and looked like a team on the rise just at the right time with four more pre-season games before they start District 7-3A games on Dec. 15.

The Lady Bucks are currently ranked third (2-6) in District 7-3A behind Nocona (4-2) in first and Jacksboro (3-2) in second. TheLady Bucks are scheduled to play Ballinger, Archer City, Hawley and Graham prior to the District 7 games. The Lady Bucks begin District 7-3A play on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Nocona, with game time at 6 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 4 the Lady Bucks hosted the Lady Bulldogs of Ranger with the JVs playing at 5 pm, with a win at 24-16, followed by the Lady Bucks Varsity at 6:15 p.m.
