Lady Bucks basketball hosts scrimmage to begin season

The Lady Bucks junior varsity and varsity teams began their season hosting a scrimmage tournament against the Huckabay Lady Indians and the Fort Worth South Hills Lady Scorpions. 

The JV team lost to Huckabay, 45-12 and defeated Fort Worth South Hills, 18-4.

The varsity team, meanwhile, lost to Huckabay, 44-14 and defeated Fort Worth South Hills, 37-8.

The scrimmage that took place Saturday, Nov. 1 had the teams playing two 15-minute quarters with a running clock. 

The Lady Bucks will host Fort Worth South Hills for another scrimmage tonight, Monday, Nov. 3. The JV team plays the Lady Scorpions at 4:30 p.m. and the varsity game will take place at 6:30 p.m. 

The Lady Bucks then head to Abilene High to face the Lady Eagles Friday, Nov. 7, JV at 4:30 p.m. and varsity at 6:00 p.m.
