Lady Bucks fall to Lady Tigerettes, 30-51

The Lady Bucks traveled to Jacksboro Friday, Jan.29 to play the Lady Tigers. The lady Bucks suffered a loss, 30-51.

The Lady Bucks fell behind from the very beginning with a score of (5-11) at the end of the first quarter. Contributing to the scoreboard were from Aimee Toliver #2 and a three-pointer from Kylee Willis #22.

Camilia Palacios #15 scored another three-pointer at the beginning of the second quarter for the Lady Bucks. Willis was limited only to get a foul shot, which helped with the Lady Bucks’ nine points half against the Lady Tigerettes’ 24 points at the end of the first half.

During the third quarter the Lady Bucks managed another six points, with buckets from Willis, Toliver and C. Palacios for a score of 15-36.

The Lady Bucks got hot in the fourth quarter with 15 points. Willis added a bucket along with Emily Welch #1 with one and two buckets each from Jady Gonzales #12 and Zaea Ragle #23 and foul shots from Alexis Navarro and C. Palacios.

The Lady Bucks had 15 turnovers during the matchup against the Lady Tigerettes, who had five seniors on the floor.

The Lady Bucks are back home on Tuesday, Feb. 2 against the Henrietta Lady Bearcats. The Lady Bucks only lost by 10 points in their first matchup against the Lady Bearcats, 25-35.

The Lady Bucks will travel to Wichita Falls to play the City View Lady Mustangs for their last game of the season on Feb. 7. During the first round Breckenridge beat City View 55-31.
