Lady Bucks fall in third straight district game

The last and only winning scores the Lady Bucks have had was against the Millsap Lady Bulldogs when they played Tuesday, Sept. 25 and won 25-21, 26-24, 16-25 and 25-23.

Since then, the lady Bucks have suffered three losses. They played the Tolar Lady Rattlers on Friday, Oct. 5 and lost 10-25, 12-25 and then rallied in the last game but lost 24-26.

On Tuesday, Oct. 9, the Lady Bucks will play the Peaster Lady Panthers. On the following Friday, Oct. 19, the Lady Bucks have another go at the Millsap Lady Bulldogs, who they have high hopes of beating a second time.

The last game is against the 3A state-ranked Boyd Lady Yellowjackets on Tuesday, Oct. 23.

At press time, the Lady Bucks are 1-9 in district play and 4-15 overall.

Lady Bucks lost to the Brock Lady Eagles, who are state ranked in 3A volleyball. The girls lost to them 8-25, 15-25 and 11-25.

The only scores the Breckenridge American has at press from the Paradise Lady Panthers matches was the JV White team that won 25-18 and 25-16.
