Lady Bucks Freshman continue winning streak over Nocona

The Lady Bucks Freshmen team continued they’re winning streak to 8 matches by beating the Nocona Lady Indians in two hard-fought sets, 26-24 and 25-19. Their overall season record stands at 9-2, with a District 7-3A record of 3-0. There was no freshman match against the City View Lady Mustangs, who just had Varsity and JV teams.

Player of the Match was designated as Zaea Ragle. Coach Kyrah Bailey said, “Zaea continues to get better daily. When she makes a mistake, she learns from them and she doesn’t get angry! She’s constantly encouraging and one of the hardest working athletes I know.”

The next challenge for the Lady Bucks Freshmen is against the Holliday Lady Bearcats on Friday, Sept. 25, on their home court.

After that match, the Lady Bucks team will travel to Bowie to face the Lady Jackrabbits in the last District 7-3A match of the first half of the season, on Tuesday, Sept. 29, before they start the second half of the volleyball season.
