Lady Bucks show support for ‘Lauren Strong #Together’

The Lady Bucks Volleyball teams have planned to do a service project at the local Villa Haven Nursing Center in honor and support for Lauren Thomas, from Liverpool, Ohio.

She is a fellow volleyball player who suffered a severe stroke from a blood clot and is involved in a long recovery process. Lauren is a sophomore in high school and was a right side hitter on her high school volleyball team. She was participating in a volleyball camp held at Youngstown State University, in Ohio, in July, when she suffered the severe stroke.

Volleyball teams from all over the nation, both collegiate and high school levels, are responding to this young volleyball player, who is now involved in a long fight toward recovery.

Integrity Plumbing donated $1,300 toward getting t-shirts printed for the volleyball girls and faculty to wear to demonstrate their support for “Lauren Strong #Together.”
