Lady Bucks off to strong start this season

The Lady Bucks Varsity Basketball team has gotten off to a great start in their pre-season games, with a 62-30 victory over Ranger Monday, Nov. 19. The top scorers were Carly Tennison and Mariah Baladez. The Lady Bucks season record is 6-3.

During the weekend of Nov. 16 and 17, the Lady Bucks Varsity girls won the 2nd Annual Baird Invitational Basketball Tournament. Carly Tennison was named MVPfor the tournament and Madison Stanley and Alyssa Reyes were named to the All-Tournament team. The head coach is Chris Robertson and the assistant coach is Donny Funderburg.

Meanwhile, the Lady Bucks JV team with Coach Lindsey Neeb won third place at the Eula JVtournament, Nov. 16 and 17, at Eula.
