Lady Bucks varsity fall to Paradise, now 0-4 in division
The Lady Bucks varsity volleyball team fell to Paradise’s Lady Panthers in a three-game set, while both JV Green and White won their series’.
The Bucks varsity lost their first game 17-25 but followed up the loss with a 25-15 win. After the second game, a referee had to be checked out for a medical situation, which delayed the game for about 30 minutes. After the delay, the last game went against the Bucks favor, 18-25.
The JV Green won two of their three games; 26-24, 11-25 and 25-17. The JV White team also won two of three games; 25-18, 15-25 and 15-4.
The Lady Bucks varsity Volleyball team now has a 0-4 district 7-3A record and an overall record of three wins and 12 losses. Friday, Sept. 21, the Lady Bucks played the Lady Hounds at Peaster and lost all three games. The scores were 15-25, 14-25 and 10-25. Tuesday, Sept. 25, the girls are set to play the Lady Bulldogs at Millsap. Then Saturday, Sept. 29, the girls will play the Lady Jackets at Boyd. That will be a challenging game with Boyd ranked at the top of 3A volleyball.
