Lady Bucks volleyball start season 4-2

The Lady Bucks varsity volleyball team lost in three games; 17-25 in two games and then 23-25 in game three at Hawley, Tuesday, Aug.

21. There weren’t as many errors as against Graham last week, where the girls had 30 hitting errors, which shows improvement. Overall, the Lady Bucks record is 4-2,excluding scrimmage games. The JV Green lost 15-25 and 12-25 and dropped their record to 4-2 as well. “They started out playing well and then just lost,” JV Coach Kim Walker said.

The JV White team won their first game 25-23 and lost the next two 9-25 and 18-25, respectively, against Hawley on Aug. 21.

“They came back strong in the third gamebut time ran out on them,” Coach Lindsey Neeb said.

The Lady Bucks Volleyball teams will face Jim Ned Saturday, Sept. 1. Then they will host the Lady Mustangs of Sweetwater Tuesday, Sept. 4, at home.

After that, district play will begin Friday, Sept. 7, against the Lady Tigers at Jacksboro. The JV games usually start at 4:30 and the Lady Bucks Varsity will begin about 6 p.m.
