Carrol Kanady, Cody Wimberley and Roy Russell will be joining the Breckenridge Independent School District's board after Saturday's election.

While Russell ran unopposed, Wimberley and Kanady beat Incumbents Patrick Escalon and Russell Creager, respectively.

Wimberley won Place 4 with a vote of 175 to 137 and Kanady won Place 5 with a vote of 180 to 131. Russell received a total vote of 284.

Russell will represent Place 3 and replace Carey Woodward, who is stepping down. The election results will be canvassed at 6 p.m., Monday, May 13 at the district's administration office.
