The Breckenridge Rotary brought the holidays a little early to the community, serving up Christmas and winter at their annual event.

Rotary’s Taste of the Holidays took over The Popular on Walker St. on Tuesday, Nov. 5 to showcase foods from local restaurants and farms. This two-hour event was enjoyed by more than 100 community members, showcased seven different tables of food and allowed guests to bid on auction items that were Christmas and winter-themed.

The community got to vote on which table had the best food and which table had the best decor. The best food was awarded to Nourish by TheGym, who featured stuffed peppers, mushrooms, and more food that was said to be great-tasting and nutritious. The best table decor went to the Vintage Butterfly, who had their table covered with holiday-themed decor.

This event helped raise funds for Breckenridge Rotary, which will help give scholarships to Breckenridge High School students.
