BMC holds cookout for National Doctors' Day

The Breckenridge Medical Center held National Doctor Day and featured a cookout with hamburgers for those in attendance. The day is aimed at celebrating doctors and physicians within each individual community, and thanking them for their contributions.

Ronnie and Pete Cooper, who work maintenance, and Director of Plant Operations Marty Dover were cooking the burgers outside the center. Both the Cooper brothers have been helping with this for almost a decade now, thought this is only the third year they’ve done a cookout for National Doctors’ Day.

“(Before National Doctors’ Day), it was for Hospital Week,” Dover said. “And for the town.”
