Register for May 1 Election

Registration for the May 1 local election is fast approaching. If anyone wishes to vote on May 1, they must register to vote by April 1.

Stephens County residents are reminded that there are no challenges to City Commissioner positions for Place 3, David Wimberley, or for Place 4, Tom Cyprian. However, there are challenges in the Breckenridge ISD elections for Place 7, vacated by Ardis Johnson. Chad Townson and Tammy Wimberley-Anderson have announced their challenge for that slot.

Additionally, Place 2 incumbent, Paul Lippe, is being challenged by Jimmy McKay.
