Sex offenders in direct violation of Breckenridge ordinance or are they?

With the recent arrest, by the Stephens County Sheriff’s office, after a child pornography investigation, the Breckenridge American has conducted an examination into convicted sex offenders within the community and their proximity to school, libraries, and frequent stops for children under the age of 17.
The search found five convicted sex offenders live within 1,000 feet of a school, library, or park. The research also found that one convicted sex offender lives directly across the street from one Breckenridge elementary school.
