United Fund nearly half way of goal

The United Fund kicked off the 2020-21 campaign on Oct. 1. As of Oct. 26, United Fund has reached 43 percent of their goal of $18,000 with donations totaling $8,869. The United Fund is slightly ahead of donations made this same time last year.

Many local organizations in the community depend on The United Fund and since COVID-19 broke out the need is even greater.

The United Fund Board of Directors led by President, Sherry Strickland said, “We appreciate those who have already made their donations so far and look forward to those of you who will be donating in the future. So, if you have not sent your donation to the United Fund, please do so.”

All donations stay in Stephens County to support the local organizations that include the elderly and the youth of our community and places such as the local Breckenridge Library, Swenson Memorial Museum or Meals-on-Wheels, just to name a few.
