United Fund update

The United Fund of Breckenridge continues their fundraiser campaign to support local organizations that include Meals-on-Wheels, All His Children, Swenson Memorial Museum, Breckenridge Library, Friends of Historic Breckenridge, Breckenridge Fine Arts Center, local Boy Scouts #63, Cub Scouts #81, local Girl Scouts #8356, The Open Door, Stephens County Child Welfare Board, The SHAC, Dr. Goodall’s House, Stephens County Humane Society, Stephens County Ag and Community Center, Breckenridge Girl’s Softball, Breckenridge Little Kickers and Breckenridge Little League.

The goal this year was set at $17,000 and as of Thursday, Dec. 13, the United Fund boards reports that $9,693 has been donated, which represents 56 percent of the goal.

Since the last article on the United Fund was published the following donations have come in and include James and Jane Asher, Baxley Auto Lube and Tire Center, Ken Blades, Sandra Bailey, Helen Haddock, James Shelton, Strickland Inspections, Scott Waller/Bar W Electric and Welding and Warehouse Feed.
