Woodson ISD holds panel for questions on four-day week

Several teachers, parents and officials from Woodson ISD met for a panel Tuesday evening, March 19, in the Woodson ISD library to answer remaining questions the public may have about their potential shift to a four-day school week, which was pitched last month.

If the change takes place, as the plan is currently outlined, Woodson would drop almost every Friday and have class Monday through Thursday. The exception to this would be six Fridays throughout the school year, all of which occur from August to October, according to a mock calendar.
