On Monday morning, volunteers loaded cases of water for local residents brought in by the Texas National Guard late Saturday night for the many residents who did not have water after the winter storm last week. Chris Curtis, Director of Business Development for Stephens Memorial Hospital, said, “SMH has been notified that they will get the COVID vaccine, Moderna, for 60 new people next week.”
After the initial storm there were remnants of large, cardboard boxes at the city park as a means to improvise as a sled to sled downhill. These kids participated in the traditional slide down the hill at the City Park that has been part of their parents’ lives and a generational ‘must’ for their children.
