The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center (BFAC) will host several summer events for children beginning June 22.

After just over one year of service, Colton Buckley announced Saturday his intent to resign from his position as the Executive Director of Breckenridge Become, the new strategic alignment of the Breckenridge Economic Development Corporation, Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce, Industrial Foundation, and Improvement Council.
Local reports by multiple Breckenridge parents and guardians are circulating regarding potentially fraudulent tax returns filed with the IRS using their children’s personal information.

Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls released a list of its spring Dean’s Honor Roll student Thursday, May 26, which included two students from Breckenridge. The list included 1,200 students for the Spring 2022 semester.
Students were not the only ones honored at the awards ceremony last week. Three employees of Woodson ISD were also recognized for their years of service to the district.
Registration is now open for several “summer fun classes” hosted by and held at the Stephens County Texas A&M Agrilife Extension office. Classes are available for students in grades 3rd through 12th, who can sign up for any or all of the offered classes now through Friday, June 3.
