Julia Elizabeth Putnam, 77, a resident of Albany, departed this life on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, in an Abilene hospital. She was born in Abilene, Texas, on Oct. 10, 1943, to Joseph Carrol Putnam and Margaret Elizabeth Sheers Putnam. Julia lived on the family’s Camp Cooper Ranch in Throckmorton County before they moved to Albany in 1947. The Putnams moved back to the ranch in 1955. Julia attended Albany schools and graduated from high school in 1962.
Willis Ray Gee, age 88 of Breckenridge, passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2020. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 30 at Morehart Mortuary chapel with Don Nelson officiating.
Stanley Newton Willman passed away Tuesday, January 12 at the age of 86. Stanley Willman was born to Robert T. Willman and Estelle McCain and was a graduate of the University of Texas, also serving in the U.S. Army.

Evelyn Perry, age 92 of Breckenridge, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 16 in the Breckenridge Cemetery with the Reverend Don Bearden officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation was held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., prior to the service on Saturday, Jan. 16 at Morehart Mortuary.
William Pierce Gibson III (Trey), age 63, passed away at his home in Round Rock, Texas on Dec. 10, 2020. Trey was born in Wichita Falls on Jan. 6,1957 to William Pierce Gibson, Jr. and Ruth Dianne Conner Gibson. He moved to Breckenridge at age 10 and graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1975. He loved Breckenridge and his many friends. Trey never met a stranger and embraced everyone.

Dennis Elmo Stephens of Denton, Texas passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020. Dennis was born to loving parents Jack and LaVerne Stephens on May 28, 1949. He grew up in his awesome “hometown” of Breckenridge before settling in Denton.
Zane Sol Beaird, 84, of Eula went to meet the Lord and Savior Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020 surrounded by family. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are by Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.
Robert Warren “Bobby” Anderson was born on Jan. 6, 1954 in Dallas, Texas, to Leona Jean Jacobs Anderson and Charles Robert Anderson. In 1958, Bobby’s parents moved from Dallas to Breckenridge, and that was where he and his two older sisters were raised. Bobby lived in Breckenridge most of his life. He has been a member of St. Andrews Episcopal church since 1958 and was a man of strong faith.
