Breck athletes represent at FCA All-Star Festival

The Breckenridge Buckaroos had a strong presence at the Big Country Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star Festival, which took place in Abilene and Brownwood. In total, Breckenridge had five athletes participating in the festivities and two coaches.

Gravitt to compete Saturday in Oil Bowl

The 88th annual Maskat Shrine Oil Bowl Classic between the East and West Texas All-Stars takes place this weekend, with one former Buckaroo football player on the roster. Breckenridge Class of 2025 graduate Zage Gravitt will be taking part as a member of the East Texas football All-Stars.

Skills camps begin next week

Future Buckaroos will soon have the chance to hone their skills and learn from the Breckenridge coaching staff as well as current and former student- athletes. There are a handful of summer skills camps coming up in multiple sports.

The 2024-25 school year has come to an end, and with it the Class of 2025 graduation and spring sports. While it may be the slow point of the athletic season, there are plenty of upcoming changes within the athletic department.

10 Buckaroos earn 2025 baseball superlatives

Ten Breckenridge Buckaroo players have earned superlatives as part of the baseball 2025 superlatives that were announced last week. Earning co-offensive MVP was senior catcher Nieko Martinez, who is committed to play baseball at Cisco College.

BHS athletes honored at sports banquet

Student-athletes of Breckenridge High School and their families filled the main gym of the BISD Athletics and Fine Arts Center as their coaches honored them for their achievements Thursday evening, May 15.
