JV Bucks win handily over Henrietta JV, 9-0

Prior to the Bucks Varsity game, the Bucks JV squared off against the Bearcats JV team from Henrietta. BHS alumni, Jake Escalon, was behind the catcher at home plate calling the game. His baptism under fire came on the very first pitch which hit his shoulder. For those who don’t know, Jake was the catcher for the Bucks and now plays baseball at Tarleton State Univ. Escalon Field, where the Bucks play, was named after his grandfather, Dee Escalon, who coached many little Bucks over a few decades.
