Obituaries

Mary Leonard, 88, died Sunday, May 14, 2017. Funeral service were held Wednesday, May 17, at 2 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, with Charles West and Jimmy Caraway officiating. Interment followed in Breckenridge Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 16 from 6:30-8 p.m. Arrangements under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral home.
Mary Elizabeth Shelton was born Aug. 23, 1928 in Dallas, to Frank Shelton and Mary Myrtle Dunn Shelton. She married the love of her life, Weldon Leonard, on Sept. 14, 1945 in Cedar Hill.

Donald Brant Crenshaw Jr., 85, died Thursday, May 11, 2017 in Abilene. Funeral service with Revs. Greg Porterfield and Charles Kuhn officiating were held Monday, May 15, at 3 p.m. at the First Christian Church. Interment followed in the Breckenridge Cemetery.
Donald Brant Crenshaw Jr. was born Jan. 26, 1932 in Breckenridge, to Donald Brant Crenshaw Sr. and Elizabeth Ewing Crenshaw. He graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1950 and Trinity University in 1961 with a degree in architecture.

Teresa Bosworth, 63, of Breckenridge, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, May 20, at the residence of Donnie Baxley, 10508 Hwy. 183 S. in Breckenridge. Arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.
Teresa Cannon was born April 26, 1953 in Purcell, Okla., to parents Gordon Cannon and Wanda Lee Huffman Cannon. She graduated high school in Purcell, Okla. in 1971.

Maria Francisca Marentes Acosta, 76, of Breckenridge, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Hendrick Hospice in Abilene. Her family will have a service at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.
