Bucks finish on high note, crush Eagles 58-0

In a battle of winless teams in District 3-3A, the Breckenridge Buckaroos ended their streak following a dominant 58-0 victory over the San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles. This Breckenridge team (1-9, 1-4) had fought hard all year, coming close to wins a few times but falling short on each occasion.

Bucks fall to Mustangs in final home game

For a team looking for its first win of the season, matching up against the top team in the district is never an easy task. The Breckenridge Buckaroos played their final home game of the season Friday, Nov.

Stewart to represent BHS at state meet

Following his top 10 region finish, Chance Stewart will represent the Breckenridge Buckaroos at the upcoming 2024 Cross Country State Championships this weekend. The Buckaroos cross country team and Lady Buck’s solo runner Sayler Townson hit the course Tuesday, Oct.

Buckaroos falter late in loss to Comanche

The Breckenridge Buckaroos played one of their better games of the season last week but came up short in a 34-21 loss to the Comanche Indians. The two teams played each other relatively close all game, and it wasn’t until the remaining minutes that the outcome was decided.

Lady Bucks split matches against Eastland, Early

As the Lady Bucks near the end of the regular season, they’re fighting for a playoff spot in District 8-3A. Last week, Breckenridge split their two games with a win against Eastland but a loss on Senior Day against Early.

Buckaroos suffer shutout at Jim Ned

It was another difficult night for the Breckenridge Buckaroos when they traveled to Jim Ned for a district match-up with the Indians. The Bucks fell short in a 48-0 shutout loss to the Indians last Friday, Oct.

BHS softball selling raffle

Breckenridge High School softball players are looking to score some new gear with the help of an ongoing fundraiser. Starting last Tuesday, the team began selling raffle tickets for a .243 rifle for their fall fundraiser.
