Buckaroos celebrate seniors with blowout victory

Not long ago, the Breckenridge Buckaroos went from being a state-ranked football team to searching for answers following backto- back district losses. After feeling like they let two games slip away, the Bucks fought back to earn a second- place district finish with a win Friday, Oct. 28 at Bowie and closing the season with a 50-20 senior night home win Friday, Nov. 4 over the Clyde Bulldogs.

Buckaroos make playoffs with win in Bowie

The Buckaroos are heading to the playoffs. While snapping a twogame losing streak Friday, Oct. 28, in Bowie, the Buckaroos secured their place with a 33-0 shutout victory over the Jackrabbits to improve to 7-2 overall and 2-2 in the district.

Buckaroos’ streak stymied by Lions

The No. 6 Breckenridge Buckaroos’ winning streak was snapped Friday, Oct. 14 with a 2821 loss on the road to the Vernon Lions. Shutting out the Buckaroos in the first half, the Lions’ defense held the Buckaroos to its lowest total yardage of the season.
