Breckenridge Head Coach Casey Hubble challenged his team on Friday, Sept. 13, to play physical, they accepted that challenge in the Buckaroos 40-19 loss to the Cisco Loboes.
The Breckenridge Buckaroos went to Cisco, in a game many fans believed they would get blown out in. The Loboes came in 1-1 but had showed their power early with a steady run game and a quarterback who could escape the pocket with ease. A stream of Lobo rushers leads to an early touchdown for Cisco, up 6-0 in the first.

The lights were bright, but the Breckenridge Buckaroos play on the field did not shine. The Bucks lost to the Jacksboro Tigers 35-20 on Friday, Aug. 30.
In a game that featured more than 90 yards in penalties combined and four turnovers, the Bucks play was sloppy.
When Breckenridge took the field, they were faced with a heavy running attack from the Tigers. Jacksboro spent most of the first quarter on offense, chipping away at the Bucks defense. The Tigers got within the 10 yard line and were able to score a touchdown with just a few minutes left in the first quarter.
The Breckenridge Buckaroos varsity baseball took care of business in their first-round playoff tilt against the Henrietta Bearcats Thursday, May 2, dominating in their two games played 9-1 and 10-0.
With the win, the Bucks are now bi-district champions and will now play the winner of the Anson/Early matchup, which began Thursday evening with an Early victory. They are set to play game two Saturday evening at 6 p.m. at Abilene Christian University.
In a defensive battle against the No. 1 ranked Brock Eagles, the Breckenridge Buckaroo varsity baseball team came up one run short in a 2-1 loss in a home game, which also was their first district game of the season.
