Boss Oilfield Supply hosts ribbon cutting, luncheon with chamber

Boss Oilfield Supply hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce, Friday, Jan. 18 and held a luncheon for attendees to follow it.

Though, the company has been open since October. Representatives at the company explained the work that went into launching the company, which is located at what used to be Oasis Bar on W. Walker Street.

Bucks varsity falls to Panthers after last-minute fouls

The Breckenridge Buckaroos varsity basketball team played Millsap on Friday, Jan. 4 and were able to secure a 51-40 win.

They followed this performance up against the Paradise Panthers. The Bucks got off to a quick start with three buckets to lead by a slim margin before the Panthers tied it up at 6-6, at 2:28 of first quarter. Then the Panthers slipped ahead by two baskets. Jose Arrellano (3) put in a three-pointer at the buzzer to end the first quarter only one point behind the Panthers, 9-10.

Lady Bucks dominate Lady Panthers 45-19

The Lady Bucks varsity basketball team started the game against the Paradise Lady Panthers with a layup from Madison Stanley (10). On the defensive end of the court there were multiple steals that generated two quick points and then two more and the score was 6-0 before one could turn their head.
