Officials for the event weigh in a rabbit. The event began with the weighing-in of animals, followed shortly by the judging of the rabbits.

There were five competitors for the coveted Jacob Jackson Master Showmanship Award at the recent Stephens County Stock Show. Pictured from left to right are Morgan Robertson, Kason Knight, Baylee Young, Caroline Turner and Reigan Robertson. Kason Knight won the coveted award. All five had to demonstrate their ability to show a variety of five different animals.

Daughters of the American Revolution announce their Good Citizens Awards

The Daughters of the American Revolution announced their Good Citizens Award for a few local high schools, according to an announcement from the DAR.

Lisa Echols of Lee’s Legion Chapter announced the winners, who were recognized in the DAR’s Jan. 9 meeting. One of the winners was from Breckenridge High School.
