Ridge Nutrition held a Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Monday, Oct. 26 to offcially open their doors to the public. Owner, Kim Sewell, of Mineral Wells cut the ribbon which was held by two of her employees, Tai Clague on the right and Whitney Weed on the left, while a third employee, Niesha Price took care of customers. CVFD receives $1,750

Noah Gray represented Caddo Volunteer Fire Dept. received a check for $1750 as part of a Beacon Grant from the Elks National Foundation presented by the local Elks #1480. He received the check from the Exalted Ruler Melinda Flournoy. Calendar of Events

Monday, Nov. 9 - Breckenridge ISD Board of Trustees will meet in a Regular Board meeting on November 9, at 6:30 p.m. The agenda for the Regular Meeting will include a Public Meeting to discuss Breckenridge ISD’s results from the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas.

Woman’s Forum met for Style Show

The Woman’s Forum of Breckenridge met for their first gathering of the calendar year on Tuesday, Sept. 22. The program for this first meeting was a Style Show hosted by the Bertie and Olif Shop in downtown Breckenridge.

Brush Chipping Week

The City of Breckenridge and Stephens County have announced that, as a cooperative effort, they will be picking up brush with a woodchipper inside the corporate limits of Breckenridge the week of Oct. 19. It will be necessary for the citizens to have brush that they would like chipped and hauled off at curbside by Friday, Oct. 16.
