Lola Jean Fairless, age 89 of Breckenridge, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Funeral services was held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 3 at The Lighthouse Church with Bishop W.C. Roach and Michael Roach officiating. Interment followed in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 2 at The Lighthouse Church.
Samuel Turner, 76 of Breckenridge passed away on June 19, 2020 in Fort Worth surround by his family. A memorial service for Mr. Turner was held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2020, in the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Charles West and J.C. Burt officiating. A private family burial on the family’s ranch in Necessity will take place under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.
Gina Gray, age 60 of Breckenridge, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 24th in the Hart Cemetery with Rex Dodds officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Jimmie Gale Souter, age 79, passed away at Park Valley Inn Health Care in Round Rock, Tx on Sunday, May 31, 2020. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 6 at Turnersville Unity Presbyterian Church (Turnersville Unity Meeting House) at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Ken Lewallen officiating. Internment followed at Turnersville Cemetery in Turnersville (Coryell County) Texas under the direction of Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville.
Bobby Floyd Martin passed away Saturday May 30, 2020 in Breckenridge, TX.
He was born on Nov. 14, 1963 to Jimmy Harold Martin and Zoella Faye (Rodebush) Martin. He grew up in Oklahoma and later moved back to Breckenridge in the 1980s. He married Lecia Whiteley on May 12, 2018, at Lady Bird lookout in Breckenridge.
Marcy Hamilton, 91, of Breckenridge, passed away Thursday, May 14. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 23 at Morehart Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Andy Channer and Larry Holder officiating. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Helen White, 92, of Fort Worth, formerly of Breckenridge, passed away Thursday, May 7. Per the family’s wishes, Mrs. White was cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.
Helen Faye Carruth was born Dec. 15, 1927 in Haskell, TX to parents, William Jepsey Carruth and Emma Johnnie Johnson Carruth. On April 1, 1946, she married Emory Alvin White in Haskell. She was a longtime resident of Breckenridge and member of First Baptist Church, before moving to Fort Worth to be closer to her family.
Naomi Taylor, age 83 of Caddo, passed away Friday, April 24, 2020. Graveside funeral services for the family only will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 27 in the Caddo Cemetery with Jim Cox officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Tommy Lee Hailey, 85, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home April 22, 2020.
