The Breckenridge Lady Bucks faced Jacksboro last Tuesday, Oct. 2. Varsity lost all three games, along with JV Green. JV White won both of their games, and have been consistently winning throughout the season.
The scores for varsity were 14-25, 15-25 and 13-25. For JV Green, it was 12-25 and 15-25. The JV White team won by scores of 25-16 and 25-15.
They went on the road to face Tolar the following Friday, Oct. 5, where varsity lost in three games as well. The last game however, came down to the final shot, where they lost 24-26 in the end.
Coach Robertson and his staff instituted a conditioning program that included a commitment to conditioning, the team, school pride, personal integrity and respect for coaches and teammates.
The program challenged the Lady Bucks basketball team to make a commitment to conditioning during the summer and on into the off-season period, Oct. 15, prior to the basketball season beginning.

What looked to be a potential shootout early on settled down, as both teams scored quickly in the first quarter but struggled to find their way across the end zone again in the first half. For the Bucks, it would be the only time they would find the end zone all night.
