Evan Moore, representing Breckenridge High School, traveled to the Regional Cross Country competition in Lubbock on Saturday, Nov. 7. According to Coaches Bryan and Brittney Goehring, Evan placed 30th in a field of 136 participants.
It appears the Lady Bucks Varsity Basketball team enjoys cutting it close to win a game in another nail-biter against the Tolar Lady Rattlers, winning 33-31.

The Breckenridge Bucks Basketball team got off to a big splash to begin the 2020-21 season with two wins against the Abilene Hawks of Abilene Christian Academy, 44-34 and the Bellevue Eagles shootout, 64-42.
In only the second scrimmage of the 2020- 21 Lady Bucks basketball season, the varsity Lady Bucks took the game to a 52-52 tie at the end of regulation play.
With a 14-0 lead midway through the first half, things were looking good for the Breckenridge Buckaroos, but the Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles were driving towards the Bucks endzone. With the Eagles in Bucks territory, a strip, fumble, and return for a defensive touchdown by Jonas Arellano put the Buckaroos in firm control of the contest.
The Lady Bucks hit the boards Saturday, Oct. 31, with an invitational scrimmage with the Peaster Lady Greyhounds and the Midway Lady Falcons.
The Breckenridge High School Cross Country Buckaroo and Lady Bucks teams competed at the district meet Monday, Oct. 26 during some unusually cold conditions and some heartbreak.
