Harold Shackelford, 76, of Breckenridge, passed away Sunday, July 18. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 23 at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Genoa Goad officiating. Interment followed in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Rondal “Ronnie” Pendleton, 73, of Breckenridge, passed away Thursday, July 22, in Abilene, TX. His memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, at the First United Methodist Church, with David Fergeson officiating. The family will welcome friends in the church atrium for a visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. immediately before the memorial service.
Jimmie McMillan, 75, of Breckenridge, passed away Tuesday, July 13. Graveside funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17 in the Breckenridge Cemetery, with Father Don Sackett officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 16 at Morehart Mortuary.
Betty Jean (B.J.) Partlow, 64, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 1.
Elaria Perales, 81, of Breckenridge, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 6 at Morehart Mortuary, with Pastor Danny Brown officiating. Interment followed in the Breckenridge Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 5 at Morehart Mortuary.
Marsha Ann Ledbetter Sievers Whitehead, born in Abilene on April 26, 1948 to Oran Harrell and Nell Jean Ledbetter, passed away Tuesday, June 29. Graveside services were held at the Albany Cemetery at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 1, under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Sue Barrier, 76, of Breckenridge, passed away Sunday, June 27. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 2 at Morehart Mortuary, with Pastor David Ferguson officiating. Interment followed in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation was held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 2, just prior to the service.
On Sunday, June 20, 2021, Linda Nell Baisch went home to see her “Daddy” and her Heavenly Father at the age of 75. She had longed to see her Dad, “Daddy” as she would call him, and was able to have that reunion so fittingly on Father’s Day.
Danny Philip Morris, a loving husband and father, went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 11. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday June 26 at First Baptist Church in Woodson.
Danny was born August 5, 1963, to Leroy Phillip and Lela Faye Morris, in Woodson. Danny was a proud big brother to his younger sister, Darla Jo Morris. Danny graduated from Woodson High School in 1981. He married Leslie Ann Babcock and together they had three beautiful children.
