The Breckenridge Lady Bucks have slipped from third to fifth place with an overall season record of 4-10 and a District 7 record of 0-2. Their District 7 losses were to the first place Nocona Lady Trojans, 16-75 and the second-place Bowie Lady Jackrabbits, 32-53. The girls have had a tough start in District 7 by facing the top two teams right off the bat.

District 3-3A released their All-District teams last week, Friday, December 18, and the list was spattered with the Breckenridge Buckaroos.
The Lady Bucks lost their last pre-district game to the Lady Steers of Graham, 19-51. On paper, the teams looked reasonably similar, with the Lady Steers having a (3-7) overall record and the Lady Bucks with a (3-6) overall record.
Down ten points, with under a minute to play, the Buckaroos fell short in defending the home court against the Eula Pirates, 58-48.
The Breckenridge Independent School District discussed the possibility of adding boys and girls soccer to the Athletic Program. The discussion occurred during the Monday, December 14, school board meeting.
The Lady Bucks came up on the short side of a close one, 28-29 against the Archer City Lady Wildcats on Dec. 8.
